Lake Powell

Allen and I went to Lake Powell for the weekend.
We really had a great time. It was Classic Lifgaurd's
20th anniversary so they provided three houseboats
and all the food was catered.




















We took our boat and spent some time geo-caching on the
lake, we haven't spent time together without kids for a long
time, it was really fun. Thanks to Allen's mom for spending
the weekend at our house with the boys.

We got to go to Kylee and Jason's wedding. It was so pretty at the Bountiful temple.

They had the

luncheon at Madoxx in Perry, UT. The food was great and the rolls were even better. Their reception was in Jill and Lee's yard it was so pretty they had worked so hard to get it ready for the reception.
The boys were excited to congratulate Kylee when she came out of the temple.

Kolton is so good to make sure he hugs everyone and lets them know he cares about them.

I had the opportunity to make their cake. It ended up really pretty especially once the flowers were on it.

I almost killed my sister Jill's kitchen aid mixer making the fondant, we decided before it fully killed over we would initiate Kylee's brand new mixer. It worked great. Thanks to Kjirsten and her Mom for the great fondant recipe.

Kanaraville Falls July 30, 2008

We went on this awesome hike with a group of people from my work. It was so pretty, the water was nice a refreshing........very cold bbrrrrrr. We had a great day, there were some scarey placed on the hike, the boys were brave and tuff.

24th of July in Heber

We went craw-dadin' at Strawberry res. the kids had fun catching tons of crawdads with the chicken legs on a ribbon.

We went shooting clay pigeons at the gun club, Kamren shot his first clay pigeon Good Job!! When we got back to the house Kamren said I don't know why but I always close my eyes when I pull the trigger, I guess he is a good shot even with his eyes closed.

Thank Goodness We are All Together

June 29, 2008 there was a horrible helicopter accident involving 2 medical helicopters. The helicopters involved included one that Allen flies on and also included three of his co-workers who were killed. It has been a real eye opening experience and has made us reflect on what is really important. Allen and I both fly on medical aircraft and this incident has hit very close to home. We attended the memorial services in Flagstaff and Page and also a funeral in Salt Lake City.
On a positive note we actually got a family photo out of the deal. Awesome!!! This is at Wahweap Marina in Page, Arizona.

Hot Air Ballons-Panguitch

We had a lot of fun at the Panguitch Balloon Festival, we love going and helping Judy get her balloon in the air--we usually get a ride or two when we help. It is really great.

We finally did it, we got a four-wheeler. It was supposed to be my graduation present for my Bachelor's degree, well we are a year late and half way to my Master's degree but we are loving it.
